Kast Launches Holm Collection: Where Terrazzo Meets Concrete Elegance

Kast is thrilled to introduce the Holm Collection! Inspired by the timeless allure of terrazzo, Holm seamlessly integrates the speckled visuals of this material with the refined tactility of concrete.

The collection, featuring basins named Anno, Nema, and Mesa, transcends mere functionality, transforming into artworks that make a lasting impression. Embracing a concept of understated elegance, the basin shapes are minimal and contemporary in form, serving as a canvas that accentuates and compliments the dynamic textures of the terrazzo inserts.

Much like concrete, each terrazzo insert boasts a distinctive character, defined by an array of small and medium colourful chips scattered across a speckled ivory base. The uniqueness of each piece is emphasised by the varying colours, tones, and sizes of the aggregates, ensuring that every basin is a truly individual work of art.

Aside from understated and relaxed beauty, terrazzo is extremely versatile. It adds depth, texture and surface interest. Angled at a slight gradient the inserts allow the water to flow elegantly down the surface, each emulating the curved contours of its basin.

Holm complements a variety of interior styles – whether it is understated and minimalist or bold and maximalist. Originating in 15th-century Italy where Venetian construction workers combined waste marble with concrete to create durable and inexpensive flooring, Terrazzo is the perfect material mix with a traditional and contemporary touch. Holm creates the perfect blend of contemporary new shapes and designs crafted with materials and techniques steeped in rich history.

Nema

Meet Nema, a sleek rectangular basin with angled edges. The inclusion of a pill-shaped terrazzo insert elevates its geometric form. With space for surface-mounted taps, it’s designed to make a statement.

Anno

A unique approach to a circular countertop basin. Anno is defined by its terrazzo insert, offering a dynamic speckled texture for added depth and texture. The Anno basin in Ember offers a striking but complementary focal point in this peachy bathroom.

Mesa

Curved and compact, the Mesa is a small arch-shaped basin. The Terrazzo insert emulates its contours, positioned at an angle that allows the water to flow elegantly down the surface. With space for a mono deck-mounted tap, it's an ideal choice for smaller bathrooms and cloakrooms. This moody blue cloakroom is carefully curated to achieve a harmonious design through focal points and colour balance.
