How to Care for Your Kast Basin

Regular waxing of your Kast basin will help preserve its beautiful texture and appearance.

Cleaning

To clean your Kast basin, use a soft cloth with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid using any products containing bleach or harsh chemicals. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly and dry the basin. Avoid using abrasive materials such as scouring pads, abrasive sponges, or wire wool, as these can scratch and permanently damage the surface.

Maintenance

Every Kast basin is fully sealed before leaving our UK-based factory using our unique sealing system, which provides optimal protection while maintaining the natural look and feel of concrete.

To maintain the basin’s natural beauty and texture, we recommend regularly applying a natural water-based wax and buffing with a soft cloth. For frequently used basins, wax every two weeks for the best results.
